New changes, new you: NEW ME

My name is Peter. I have spent the last 20 years in corporate run news orginizations, basically retelling the stories. I have never had a chance to actually form an opinion on any of the outlets I have been a part of. This blog is a starting point to change that.

I think a lot of why I have been hesitant is due to a certain boss, who long since left us, in the early 2000's that pulled me aside. He basically said, "Don't give an opinion on the news. No one wants to hear that. Plus, you suck at it" It really scarred me for some time.

Well, recent therapy has brought to my attention that I need to speak. by being silent, I was actually hurting my creative side. I need to be plugged into the writing process of op-ed and truth telling.
