Before you yell "BOOOMER!", think for a moment, not having your phone with you. Think for a second, walking out your house knowing you won't be able to contact anyone, less you actively seek to find a telephone. It wasn't that long ago that this was the norm, and had been for thousands of years.

We pride ourselves, these days, to be "informed" and like to push our great "information" onto our peers. Most the time we are just spewing mouth pieces that really have no clue what we're talking about. Plus, we have to keep up on our social networks, at the cost of actually paying attention to where we are driving our vehicle. The accident tolls reported by AAA on texting and driving have tripled since 2005. The average screen time, per Forbes Magazines in depth reporting, has American drivers 4 times the amount of accidents. And let's be frank, those are just the ones honest enough to admit they were at fault from their phone.

Maybe the Amish have something. Yes, I still like my car, even with gas prices creeping up over $4, I'm not buying a horse. But you never hear about Amish insurections, or being targeted by the cops, or taking their muskets into schools to onslaught a massacre. And I feel it's because they don't engage in the use of a cell phone. John Yoder isn't gonna storm the capital when theirs cows to be milked and barns to raise. He does not have time for that.

What's the solution? More bike paths with restricted internet access. If bi9den wants to Build Back Better, why not start on our bike paths. If we perfect the use of bike paths with no internet access, we can easily graduate to the road. Imagine a road with no internet access. One where you actually have to carry a paper map with you. Life could be so much easier on the roads, highways and bike paths.

One can always dream............
